On this site you will find an unusual record of contemporary collegiate life in New York: a visual slice of the daily diets of university students. Contributors to the archive are asked if they would document what they ate by photographing each of their three daily meals. This assignment provided simple examples of how to create archival records, and build archival displays using Omeka software. This archive is a project of the Department of Performing & Fine Arts at York College in Jamaica, Queens, one of the 24 campuses of the City University of New York (CUNY).
